Isaac Newton Slams Pat Robertson From Beyond the Grave

In a letter being displayed for the first time to the public, Sir Isaac Newton shows interest in religion and ponders the apocalypse. In doing so, he gets a good stab in there at these guys like Pat Robertson who keep predicting when the world’s going to end.

“It may end later, but I see no reason for its ending sooner,” Newton wrote. However, he added, “This I mention not to assert when the time of the end shall be, but to put a stop to the rash conjectures of fanciful men who are frequently predicting the time of the end, and by doing so bring the sacred prophesies into discredit as often as their predictions fail.”

Ooooh, take that Pat. You just got dissed by a dude who died 280 years ago. Now what.
