George W. Bush Having a Falling Out with His Master?

As noted by Andrew Sullivan, last night The President left out what was an important part of every major speech he has given — the mention of God.

In his address to the nation last night regarding the new direction for the war in Iraq (which this author thinks is bullshit), the wording he chose to close with was as follows:

“We go forward with trust that the Author of Liberty will guide us through these trying hours. Thank you and good night.”

W.

Unbelievable. No “May God Bless” anything. No God in the entire speech. Read the transcript.

Wow! I watched the speech and didn’t even notice this important omission. I bet he’s going to catch hell from his fellow Christian extremists over leaving Jee-zuhs out.
